SolidWorks leadership issued an internal challenge to a small group of hands-on designers: design an electric vehicle using SolidWorks and build it in 9 months. The result? This hot rod, which uses an electric bus motor that delivers 500+ ft-lbs of torque and launches this neo-vintage beauty to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds.
And that’s just with half of the batteries. They think they can get it under 3 seconds. It’s got to be the best ride here at Disneyland.
